The Far Carry
Play golf amongst the stars to save the galaxy — or end it.
A golf game in space, with RPG and roguelike game modes. Fifteen procedurally-generated worlds, four ways to play, and a campaign that ends with you deciding whether to put Jörmungandr back to sleep or let the serpent wake.

About the studio
Vulpecula Games is one person in Australia, named after the constellation — the little fox that flies between the Swan and the Eagle, and one of the quieter corners of the northern sky.
The house style is games with no assets. Every visual in The Far Carry — the courses, the golfers, the ships, the item cards, the icon — is drawn by code as you play, as vectors and canvas drawing. Every sound is synthesized in your browser as it plays. There isn't an image file or an audio file in the project. That is why it loads the way it does, and why it will still run in ten years with nothing to fetch.
The games run in a browser, install as a proper app if you want one, and play offline once installed.
No accounts. No tracking. The games collect nothing and send nothing — no sign-up, no analytics, no telemetry, no ads, no cookies. Your save lives on your own device, and you can export it to a file whenever you like.
Get in touch
Two addresses, so it's clear which one you want:
- support@vulpecula.games — something is broken, a save has gone wrong, or the game is misbehaving on your device. If it's a bug, a seed and a build number reproduces it exactly; both are visible in the game.
- info@vulpecula.games — everything else. Press, permission to use something, or just to say hello.
Public chatter lives on the itch.io page — comments there are read, and devlogs are posted there first.
